A Change To How You Enter & Exit

27 June 2024

Hey Everyone,

𝐀͟ 𝐛͟𝐢͟𝐭͟ ͟𝐨͟𝐟͟ ͟𝐚͟𝐧͟ ͟𝐢͟𝐦͟𝐩͟𝐨͟𝐫͟𝐭͟𝐚͟𝐧͟𝐭͟ ͟𝐮͟𝐩͟𝐝͟𝐚͟𝐭͟𝐞͟:

As we try to continue to improve the experience we give to not only your furry loved ones but to you guys as well, our latest upgrade is in!

Thanks to the team at MAS-Security we now have a motorised gate, intercom and new security camera.

What this means is how you enter and exit Seale Pastures will now change. Instead of manually opening the gate, we will buzz you in and out with the gate automatically closing behind you.

What this new upgrade should bring is:

Ease of entrance and exit - instead of you guys having to get out to open the gate, back in to drive through, out to close the gate and repeat the process on the way out, you just have to get out once to let us know you’re here and we’ll do the rest.

Safety - You don’t have to keep leaving your running car to sort the gate and while we’re sure you keep your furry loved ones secure in your car it avoids having to keep opening the door while they’re in there.

Security - While our site was already fully CCTV’d up and we’re always here, this now means we know exactly when people come on to site and exactly when they’ve left. It’s an extra little layer!

We hope this makes joining us and leaving us a little easier! Please just remember to wait until the flashing light has stopped before driving through and to not block the sensors or the gate won’t open.

Please bear with us for the first week or two while we get used to it (some of us here are a little better with tech than others)! Any issues we’re always just a call away!

We have more exciting plans in the works that we’ll keep you updated on as they happen! We look forward to seeing all you guys soon!

A Busy Spring Before A Busier Summer!

8th June 2024

Hey Everyone!

We hope you’ve all had a lovely Easter/Spring and are looking forward to what hopefully will now be warmer weather! We have had our busiest start to a year yet seeing lots of familiar faces and lots of new ones too! From our kennels and Cattery to small boarding we’ve got to see so many of you and we have the pleasure of seeing so many more of you throughout the year!

We’ve had some more long term guests join us, please meet Pixie, Twix and Flash! You may see these guys as you drive on up to us down at the bottom of our front fields!

Again these aren’t the only introductions that we have to do! It gives us great pleasure in announcing that Sheena, Saskia & Hollie have joined the team! While we’re very much a family run business in order for us to give each one of your loved ones as much of our time as possible and keep improving in everything that we do we’ve brought in some experienced support. You can find out more about our new team members at www.sealepasturesfarm.com/about-us - Our guests all love them and we’re sure you will too!

We also want to give a massive congratulations to Charlotte on passing her dog first aid course earlier this month with distinction!

We’re trying to keep up our on site improvements too! We’re currently in the final stages of renovating what is currently labeled as ‘our grooming room’ with the painting of it starting today! We want to give a massive thanks to SAH Developments, U K Plastering Ltd & Electri-Cal for their excellent work! (Max for his too!) There are more exciting plans for the site to come too which we’ll keep you updated on in the coming months!

We also wanted to thank you guys! There’s so many of you guys booked in this year and we can’t wait to see you all! We love looking after your pets for you and getting to see you all and some of the lovely comments we receive from you all mean the world to us, so thank you! Yet we somehow also get spoilt with treats from when you’ve been away, so thank you again!

Finally, we just wanted to give a little bit of a reminder guys. We need all of our guests staying with us to be fully up to date with their vaccinations and for dogs to of had the kennel cough vaccine a minimum of 14 days before their stay with us. Unfortunately we’ve had a number of instances where guests have come without these this year and we’ve had to turn these guests away. These vaccinations are important to keep all of our guests safe and are also a condition of our licensing and insurance. Please if you’re unsure contact us or your vet before your booking with us so we can confirm all is as should be - The last thing we want is to cause you stress before your relaxing holiday away😊

We can’t wait to see you guys soon! The Seale Pastures Team x

A New Years Update!

17 January 2024

Hey Guys!

We've been seriously slacking on our website news page updates (Our social media channels get a few more frequent updates), but we thought we'd best change that!

Firstly Happy Belated New Year! We wanted to start off by again thanking you all for your amazing support in 2023, it was lovely to catch up with our regulars and to meet so many new people and enjoy the company of your furry family members. Going in to 2024 we’ve got plans in place for some exciting changes that we’d like to make that we’ll keep you guys updated on as they happen!

Some of you who may have visited us in recent months may have seen a couple of those changes already! You may have noticed we have some new long term guests that have joined us in our front fields! Ronnie, Scout & DJ have moved in at the farm and will be sure to give you a nod as you drive on up to the office.

The next big introduction that we have to do, which gives us great pleasure, is introducing you to our newest member of staff Charlotte! Charlotte has been working with us on a part time basis now for a few months which we’re looking to make more permanent. She brings a wealth of experience from not just her time at another kennels but with working with and owning a host of other animals and pets. You can see more about Charlotte on our about us page. She’s fitted right in and our guests love her!

In 2024 our small boarding is officially open! We now have the facilities in place to look after your rabbits, gerbils and guinea pigs so if you do need us please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Finally, we’re delighted to announce that at the end of last year we officially received our 5* Licence through which is sitting proudly in place in our office.

On the bookings front we’ve had a couple of cancellation slots open up for the February half term so if you’ve struggled to get in please drop us a message!

We can’t wait to see you all in what is already looking like a busy 2024! We are booking up quickly so if you need us please do get in touch - Booking early saves us having to disappoint.

Thanks so much guys, The Seale Pastures Team x

What A Start To The Year!

15th May 2022

We would like to start this update by saying thank you!

When we first launched our website we intended to update this news page at least every few months, but we've been so busy since we took over we haven't had chance! That is all thanks to you guys! The response and support that we have received since we have taken over Seale Pastures has been incredible! It's been an absolute pleasure meeting you all and some of the comments and lovely reviews you guys have left have meant the absolute world to us!

If you have been following our social media pages (&If you don't you really should.. We think they're great!), you will have seen we've been making improvements to make the facilities as nice for our furry visitors as we possibly can!

We started with having a new flooring installed in one of our kennel blocks (Pictured right - The before picture is on our social media pages). Our previous flooring was a dark green and didn't look very welcoming at all, so we decided to have a new light grey flooring installed with a quartz finish that adds a nice grip for our furry visitors, which we think completely lifts it. We also adding some colour to the walls with some fresh paint and some stencilling to make each kennel individual and a little more personal for our guests.

Our next update was our new gate. We love our paddock area and have had some lovely comments! The only down side is when our guests were out in their outside runs, any dog that was in the paddock could come nose to nose with them - Which some guests didn't like. So local fencers Moira fencing came and installed a new gate for us to stop this happening and add another layer of security to the kennels which has worked great!

If you had a read of our previous news update you'll have seen we were in the market for some new work wear, if you've visited the kennels recently you'll have seen we've had some lovely polo tops and jackets made up with our new logo on, bringing not only some warmth in what was the colder winter months but our own little personal touch to our clothing that we couldn't be more pleased with!

The last little update we'd like to give you is a bit of a teaser.. Soon we'll be announcing details of our small animal boarding! As you'll see pictured right we're in the process of setting up our hutches to take on small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs! Please stay tuned to the website and our social media pages for more details when this is announced!

Again, we'd like to say another thank you for the support we've received. We've taken a massive amount of bookings for this year, with us even receiving bookings in to 2023!

We can't wait to see you guys soon, but until then please enjoy the pictures below of some of our recent visitors!

New Year, New Webpage & New Social Media Pages For Seale Pastures Farm!

1st January 2022

Wow! What a year 2021 was for us! While it had its massive lows of losing our Springer Spaniel Scrumpy at the good old age of 15 and who now joins his sister Macey running free in the clouds, we had the enormous high of taking over at Seale Pastures Farm, Kennels & Cattery!

As some of you know that we've met already, we've been working at Seale Pastures Farm since September while our purchase from Chris and Cath completed. We officially got the keys at the start of December!!

While moving is always stressful, we couldn't wait to get in and set up properly! We've got lots of new ideas that we want to implement and what hopefully will be lots of improvements too! All of which we hope you'll be able to follow through our new social media pages and here on the website!

Talking of social media pages, over Christmas we spent time setting all of our new pages up! You can find us on Facebook, Instagram & Twitter -  The links to which are both above and below. Please give them a follow and share so we can meet as many new faces as possible.

To go alongside our new social media pages, we've also launched our new company logo! Hopefully you'll start to see this more and more often - We're going to start with work wear, hopefully jumpers, hoodies and jackets as the cold of January is hitting us hard at the moment!

We can't wait to get stuck in to 2022 and see and get to know you all and what you guys do, while we get the exciting opportunity to meet and enjoy the company of your fluffy (or not so fluffy) loved ones!

While some of our plans may take longer than others, we have lots of exciting things in the pipeline. Please stay tuned to here and all of our social media pages for updates as to what's going on at the Farm!

See you all soon!
